Foot Care
The most ignored yet most observed part of our body is our feet. While taking care of our body and face, we actually forget to pay heed to our feet. Feet is the most stressed part of our body as it bears our weight and strains of physical exertion and exposure to dust, sunlight and changing temperature makes them dull, dry are drab. Slowly but surely, they start to look ugly. Many of us don’t really observe that a person’s hygiene is often reflected in the way he takes care of his hand and feet. While hands get washed every so often and we never forget to pamper them with moisturizers and lotions, how can we overlook the part that is more used than our hands? We all need to take out a little bit time from everyday makes a difference in the long-run.
Therapy
Soften your skin by filling a basin with warm water and add the juice of a lemon with one cup oatmeal. Soak feet for ten minutes. While soaking, rub the oatmeal all over your feet to exfoliate. Rinse with warm water.
Make a highly effective foot tonic by micro waving a cup of milk, one tablespoon dry mint leaves, one teaspoon rosemary & one teaspoon peppermint extract. Apply the mixture to feet with a clean, dry cloth. Brush off residue and wrap feet in plastic wrap. Wait five minutes and rinse thoroughly. Make your pedicure last twice as long by choosing a metallic polish. These polish contain minerals that adhere to the nail better, and give off a flattering sheen from any foot.
